She is also known as Dharma Tara, Queen of Space and guardian of the Victor’s teachings. Achi Chokyi Drolma is a historical figure—the grandmother of Lord Jigten Sumgon, founder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage. Today, she is revered as the Great Dharma Protectoress and practiced across Tibetan Buddhist lineages.

Khenpo Samdup will be teaching the historical biography of Achi Chokyi Drolma. In addition, Khenpo Samdup will share other Drikung Kagyu teachers and practitioners’ personal stories of Achi Chokyi Drolma.
