Phowa and Bardo Teachings: The Great Drikung Phowa

February 8, 2020 - February 9, 2020

The Great Drikung Phowa is highly revered in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The Phowa is a special practice that we do for ourselves and others at the time of death.  It is intended to help us be reborn in Amitabha Pureland where we meet with optimum conditions to complete our path to enlightenment.

Khenpo Samdup will offer the transmission of the Great Drikung Phowa that gives you permission to engage in this practice. In addition, he will give Bardo Teachings that provide insight into what we can expect at the time of death. Khenpo Samdup has said it is a requirement to have the Phowa transmission to participate in our monthly Phowa practice.
