The “Empowerment of Samadhi” by Lord Jigten Sumgon is a Vajrayana Buddhist practice, found in a text of the same name, that allows practitioners to engage in self-empowerment. It is based on the understanding that the practitioner’s mind and the deity are not separate, and by engaging in the practice with faith, one can receive blessings and achieve a state of samadhi or meditative absorption.
The practice of Manjushri enables the individual to cultivate and increase wisdom by facilitating the sharpening of intelligence and the ability to engage in critical analysis. It also enhances the development of bodhicitta that leads to the state of omniscience.
