A Message from Khenpo Samdup Rinpoche regarding Achi Chokyi Drolma

“Achi Chokyi Drolma is a very powerful dharma protector and swiftly accomplishes removing obstacles, she is the thousand Buddha’s protector and a special protector of the Drikung Kagyu Tradition. As a dharma protector, she assists practioners who pray to her. At this time in our world, we need a protector that can help us remove obstacles and create conditions to decrease suffering and benefit all beings. When we practice with Garchen Rinpoche, a realized master, who has accomplished this practice, the benefits are immeasurable.”

SPONSOR A PUJA DURING  ACHI (and AMITABHA) PRACTICES During these practices students may make financial offerings to sponsor the puja (ritual practice) for one’s personal benefit, that of another such as a family member, a deceased loved one or for anyone suffering in need of support. Additionally, financial offerings of any amount, small or large can be made to sponsor the puja and make a connection to these sublime practices. Sponsoring pujas is traditional way to gather the accumulation of merit and purify obscurations that prevent spiritual development and realization. In this way students can participate in the ritual practice and receive its blessings from anywhere in the world. Garchen Rinpoche and many other masters have explained that participating in pujas through sponsorship is a powerful way to gather merit and is as beneficial as performing the puja one’s self.
