These teachings will present the experiential understanding of these special instructions that Rinpoche developed over more than 20 years of rigorous practice while in prison. These teachings will include all aspects of the path including various practices of Dzogchen and Mahamudra. \nKhenpo samdup explains the nature of these teachings as follows: \n“It is important to understand the definition of pith instructions. Pith instructions are a very special teaching that is given from the root guru to his close students. These instructions are made up of few words but express a profound meaning and can have an immediate\, transformative effect on the student’s mind. These teachings are not from a story from a 1000 years ago\, they are from the 20th century\, from a person alive today sharing his own direct experience and deep accomplishment. I was encouraged to request these teachings for the benefit of  many students now and in the future. \nAfter receiving these teachings from Garchen Rinpoche\, he will single pointedly bring them all together thru the instruction of Five Fold Path Mahamudra based on Jigten Sumgon’s Song of Realization.\, this will provide a path for students to be able to easily practice these instructions in their daily life.”

DESCRIPTION:For the Long-life of Garchen Rinpoche\nBhum Tsok Ganachakra Guru Rinpoche Puja is dedicated to the long-life of H.E.Garchen Rinpoche.  Khenpo Tenpa Darje\, throne successor to Khenpo Munsel\, at Chokhot Pemai Thang Monastery\, has kindly advised the offering of Bhum Tsok recitations to invoke the blessings of Guru Rinpoche Padmaambhava. \nBhum Tsok puja is powerful for transforming anger and impure objects in the mind to manifest as purified perception of non-dual\, liberated thought to remove outer\, inner\, and secret obstacles. \nAdditional items of fruit\, flowers\, and small finger foods are welcomed to be placed on the altar and offered to all beings at the conclusion of the four-session puja. \nFour Sessions:\nThursday and Friday\nMay 10 & 11\nMay 17 & 18\n7:00 – 8:30 pm \n

Throughout this year many people have passed away. Furthermore\, we are also all going to die. Amitabha practice is an easy way to liberate ourselves and others. Amitabha’s pureland is less difficult to reach than other purelands. In addition Garchen Rinpoche will do many dedications and make aspirations for those that have passed away. \n“The Jang Chog Rituals will be a part of the practice and this has two aspects;  one is to connect those who have died with the blessings of Amitabha creating the causes for a positive rebirth. The second aspect is removing obstacles at the time of our death\, even if at that time no one practices on our behalf.
