SUMMARY:Shamatha/Vipshayana 2 day retreat
DESCRIPTION:Khenpo will lead a 2 day practice retreat on shamatha/vipshayana meditation. This retreat will include instructions\, group practice sessions\, and time for individual feedback from Khenpo. Students may either stay at the temple or commute for sessions. \nSchedule\n10:00 am – 12:00pm: Teachings and meditation practice\n12:00pm – 1:30pm: Lunch\n1:30pm – 4:00pm: Teachings and Meditation \nRetreat Fee: $25 per day $40 for weekend\nStudents: $12 per day  $20 for weekend\nLunch is Included. \nRegistration is at the door. \nAs this is a practice commitment retreat\, it is recommended to attend both days\, but if this is not possible you are encouraged to attend whatever amount of time your schedule permits.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in a welcoming Khenpo Samdup Rinpoche back to Dayton after his recent travels to Hong Kong\, India and Nepal. This evening Khenpo will share his journey to India and Nepal highlighting the holy sites as well the Commemoration of the Lord JIgten Sumgon’s 800th Maha Parinirvana Celebration at Drikung Kagyu Institute\, Jangchubling\, Dehradun\, in India. \nThis is a wonderful time to connect with the Gar Drolma community\, welcome Khenpo back to Dayton and share in his journey to India. \nWe will share in a dinner together in the lower level of Gar Drolma beginning at 6:30pm. Please bring a vegetarian covered dish to share. After dinner we will begin the slide show in the shrine room. Looking forward to seeing you at the event!
