DESCRIPTION:“The Standing Blade of Grass”\n10am-12pm \n12pm-1:30pm (Lunch\, included with registration)\n1:30pm-4:30pm \nThe Phowa practice is the most direct and quickest method by which one may be assured of a positive rebirth and possible enlightenment at the time of death. During this retreat\, attendees will have the same opportunity of receiving and practicing the Phowa transmission and teachings as did many hundreds-of-thousands of Tibetans and other practitioners around the world. Also included in the retreat will be the Nyingma Lineage Phowa transmission that Khenpo Samdup Rinpoche received from Khenpo Munsel. \nKhenpo will explain the stages of death from a Tibetan Buddhist perspective\, including the signs that accompany each stage and techniques that allow practitioners to use the process of death as an opportunity for realization.
