SUMMARY:Refuge Shakyamuni Buddha Empowerment
DESCRIPTION:10am-12pm\n12pm-1:30pm (Lunch\, included with registration)\n1:30pm-4:30pm \nKhenpo will continue the presentation of the Essence of Mahayana with teachings on refuge. He will confer the vows of refuge and explain how to keep them. \nKhenpo will also bestow the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni. Receiving this empowerment connects us to the wisdom mind of the Buddha and initiates us to recite Buddha Shakyamuni’s mantra and visualize his form. \nRetreat Fee: $25 per day $40 for weekend\nStudents: $12 per day  $20 for weekend \nRegistration is at the door.Lunch is included. \nIf you are interested in attending the retreat and need any financial assistance\, we can accommodate your needs.
